Third, the basic functions of the elevator machinery

A. Overspeed safety protection system

When the elevator has an accident, the car is overspeeding or falling down at high speed (such as the broken wire rope, the car roof pulley is disengaged, the worm gear and worm gear of the traction machine fail, and the motor descends at too high speed). At this time, the speed limiter will be braked urgently, and the safety gear will be driven by the safety cable and connecting rod mechanism, so that the car will be stuck on the guide rail without falling.

B. Spring buffer device for car and counterweight

The buffer is a safety device at the extreme position of the elevator. When the elevator causes the car or counterweight to squat or punch (the limit switch protection fails), the car or counterweight hits the spring buffer, and the buffer absorbs the elevator energy , So that the car or counterweight safely decelerates until it stops.

C. Door safety touch panel protection device

On the edge of the car door, there is a movable safety touch panel. When the door is in the process of closing, when the safety touch panel is in contact with passengers or obstacles, through the link connected to the safety touch panel, the micro switch installed on the car door is touched to make the door reopen and avoid accidents. .

D. Upper and lower limits and limit switches:

Install limit switches and limit switches on the upper and lower ends of the elevator shaft to protect the box from exceeding this range. If the upper limit or lower limit is exceeded, the motor will automatically stop and will not work. If the upper and lower limits are exceeded, the elevator will be powered off and stopped. .

E. Hall door automatic closing device

The opening and closing of the elevator floor door is realized by a door blade mounted on the car door. Each door is fitted with a lock. After the landing door is closed, the mechanical lock hook of the door lock is engaged, and the elevator can start running at this time.

When the doors on all floors are closed, the elevator can be raised and lowered. If one floor door is open, the elevator cannot run.

G. Terminal limit switch safety protection system
